Yoga Therapy is working one-on-one with clients using various yoga tools - such as poses, breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, meditation, and chanting, as well as mind/body strengthening and lifestyle advice. We can help people with various health conditions, to improve their day to day living. We can modify poses and use props to allow for safer and more effective classes.
Because each person has a different health and fitness level, we begin with an assessment to evaluate their strength and flexibility and lifestyle. We also discuss their specific needs and goals to facilitate a personalized yoga program.
Yoga therapy can be used on its own or as a complement to conventional or alternative medical treatment.
